Probate & Trust Administration

The loss of a loved one is a difficult transition in life. Whether your loved one left behind a Will, a Trust or simply passed away without a plan, we offer you the benefit of skilled legal advice as you navigate the post-death process of probate and/or trust administration.

PROBATE ADMINISTRATION. The court supervised process for identifying and gathering the assets of a deceased person, paying their debts, and distributing their assets to their beneficiaries. There are two types of probate administration under Florida law: formal administration and summary administration.

TRUST ADMINISTRATION. While a Trust does not go through probate, it must still be administered. Trust administration is the distribution of assets by Trustee held in trust following the death of the Settlor with the assistance of an attorney.
